Relaunch Campaign Strategy & Creative Direction for Hamburger Kunsthalle at Heine/Lenz/Zizka, 2016
What is art, why do we need it and what's the point of looking at it in our todays world? After almost two years of modernising one of germanys most renown art venue, Hamburger Kunsthalle celebrated its reopening with nothing else then art itself. In collaboration with Ströer we turned the whole city in an art museum lasting for weeks. The aim was to bring art back to all the people, into their everday lifes and create unexpected encounters with their famous collection of paintings. The only link back to Hamburger Kunsthalle was the sentence "Art is back" an the reopening date. Heine/Lenz/Zizka asked me to collaborate on this project for concept, campaign and writing the slogan "Die Kunst ist zurück.".
